Why do cats eat a grass? | Your smart pets

Some proprietors of cats make bad break, preventing to eat them a grass. There are different reasons of it, one of them is that they think that their cat will become ill or will violate digestion. This wrong supposition and actually eating up of grass, accompanied by a belch, is quite natural behavior for all cats.

Cats do not possess ability to dissociate meat from wool or feathers before a meal as we do; they have to eat digestible parts along with difficult digestive parts. When a cat finished to overcook that can be overcooked, bits and pieces must be deleted from the digestive system. An attempt to skip them through a digestive tract can cause a lock and serious illness; at that rate it is necessary to eat a grass. Habit to eat a grass causes the natural process of belch of difficult digestive food foods, including its own lumps wools that would hamper passableness of the system differently. To the people it can show oneself that a cat is strongly sick, but business is not so and actually it beneficially influences on a cat.

Cats can not produce enzymes necessary for overcooking of plant. The even cleared or crumbled vegetables easily pass through a digestive tract, not remaining inwardly. It is not harmful for your cat, but when the not mastered plant will interfuse with difficult digestive food of type of meat, disorder of stomach and other complications can happen. However a grass is an exception; some cats eat a grass obtrusively, when you abandon them outside. It helps to belch difficult digestive food them, including raw vegetables.

If your cat does not get access to the grass, it can make an effort eat your room plants. It can be dangerously, because some room plants and flowers are poisonous for lady-cats, so, if you hold at home a cat, as cat of breed of ragdol for example, you must regularly give to it the canned grass and to prevent cat searches elsewhere.

And that is important; do not punish your cat for that it belched on a carpet, because it will not understand why you punish it. A belch is an out of control reaction of stomach of cat, thus, it would not be able to stop it even if made an effort. Washing after a casual belch must be the generally accepted part that, to be the proprietor of cat, as they do that naturally for them only.
